no matter how long your paragraph is..you are in LA LA land...victor ortiz who nearly was ko'd by berto and beat up by madena..all the suden beats a career welterweight like margarito back then who was feared and avoided..wtf ever...its bad when you have to give floyd credit by beating someone up you believe would have also beaten up guys he didnt or floyd didnt fight....dumbest thing ive heard since the last mayweather thread i read
Neither means much imo. There are to many weight classes anyway. If you add it up weight wise, there are plenty of fighters that went up in weight like Manny. Manny=43 pounds RJJ=40 pounds James Toney=68 pounds Roberto Duran =56 pounds. Its not uncommon. We all know Floyd talks about his 0. Marciano was Undefeated in 49 fights 49-0 over 42-0. Ricardo Lopez 51-0 over 42-0. If he beats Manny then it can be looked at as something special. If I had to choose, I would probably pick Floyd. I can't stand catchweight title fights. If you are going to fight the champ, fight him at the limit. You can't have the fight with Oscar at 147 then change the limit on Cotto. Also his fight with Marg was a BS fight. Marg wasn't even ranked at the time. I don't care about Floyd's 0 but atleast he did it without catchweights. Undefeated through 5 weight classes and 3 time lineal champ is a pretty good accomplishment. Just my opinion.
None of them are really that relevant. Pac has only 1 fight at LW, 1 fight at Jr WW, and 1 fight at JMW which he never fought at the full weight vs an non ranked, non title holder. His title at WW was fought at a catch weight. Mayweather has his 0, but missed out on fights with some good fighters. But If I had to choose I would go with Pac when it comes to history at this current moment. IMO though Pac should have moved up in weight earlier while Mayweather should have cleaned out LW and JR WW and moved on to WW later then he did.
) is relatively common, even Valero has it. Winning >6 weight classes is very rare. Winning 7 - only one man did it. Winning 8, the same guy did it. So I guess, the 0 is greater!!!!!!
Unless they finally fight and get it over with, I'd rate the "8th" higher than the "0"! If they do fight, it doesn't really matter who wins imo, they'll both be regarded as better champions than at this moment, simply because they did what champs do...fight the toughest opponent out there! Is there anyone who would not want to see this fight??
Nope, cuz Madaina spanked him at j ww...His natural class should have always been ww....in fact if he fought lamont at ww that knock down would have been a one punch KO...if he fought Madaina at ww, madaina wouldnt be able to hurt him...I dont see ANYONE beating Ortiz at ww except maybe Pac, MAYBE Khan(who beat him in the olympics)..Madaina doesnt even have any real serious power..and also, keep in mind...people with NO POWER has knocked Ortiz down at jww..He's been knocked down in sparring by guys with no power, but that NEVER happens at ww...and Berto hits very hard....thats why he was able to knock him down, yet Ortiz got up like it was nothing!..Learn about the game of Boxing
pacquiao is lineal champ in 4 different weight class, 112, 126, 130 and 140. also he is a champion in 4 of boxings 8 traditional weight class, flyweight (112), featherweight (126), lightweight (135) and welterweight(147). even if you consider pac's 8th title in 8th weight class as BS, no one has ever won 7 titles in as many weight class.
Pac's 8th is as legit as RJJ's Ruiz fight, which is considered by many as at least one of, if not the best win of his career. And Pac's 8th is not even his best win.
If Pac fans are claiming Pacquiao's 8th division title is legit, then he can fight Sexy Sergio at 154.
