Looked up which belts had the most number 1 ranked fighters as there champions.

WBO has 7 - W. Klitscko, Pavlik, Pacquiao, Bradley, JM Marquez, Navarez, Calderon

WBA has 5 - Ward, John, Cabalerro, Darchinyan, Gonzalez

WBC has 4 - Pavlik, Martinez, Hasegawa, Darchinyan

IBF has 3 - Klitscko, Guerrero, Cabalerro

Think its pretty intresting, the WBO gets the most critisicm in terms of being a meaningless belt but its held by the most number 1 fighters.

Guerrero is the only IBF champion that doesnt hold another belt, and he is going to vacate to move up to lightweight apparently. We could just start ignoreing the IBF as a title all together.

I rank IBF higher than WBC.

What I don't understand is why the Japanese don't recognize IBF.

I still hold Ring the highest from all the ABC belts. I just don't like Oscar having a blog within the RingTV.com website. It should be outside of the site to make sure that people understand that ODLH's opinions are NOT part of the Ring's editorial.

It might sound a bit like Im sitting on the fence but if its either IBF or WBC championship fight I ***** my ears up more than the others,, having said that with all the catchweights and rules they impose , the big names like the Klits,Pacs,Floyds etc have become bigger names than the belts

Lowest ranked champion for each belt

WBC has 5 - Alexander, Rojas, Nishioka, Naito, Mayol
WBA has 5 - Haye, Shumenov, Senchenko, Moses, Sidorenko
WBO has 3 - Steilgrtiz, Arce, Nietes
    IBF has 1 - Sylvester

using a points system to off subtracting the number of weakest champions from the number of highest ranked champions you get.

    WBO +4
    IBF +2
    WBA 0
    WBC -1
