Floyd's career will be known as much for the great fights he didn't fight as for the brilliance he displays in the ring. Over the years, fans have been teased with great fights involving Mayweather which, for one reason or another, never materialized. Which one would have been the best?

    Casamayor
    Stevie Johnston
    Freitas
    Spadafora
    Kostya Tszyu
    Miguel Cotto
    Antonio Margarito
    .........

Take your pick. It's kinda sad the names Floyd coyuld ahve added to his ledger. You can blame who you want, but Floyd had the netwoprk and promoter to make the fights. Say what you want about DLH losing big fights, as least he took them. Floyd seemd to be fine as long as people THINK he wins fantasy fights.

I always felt a fight with Hamed would have been exciting, although one-sided.

Tszyu was on Showtime, and Mayweather on HBO. Probably the main reason that fight never took place unfortunately. Would have been another good one.

He never fought Casamayor, but that wouldn't be a fan-friendly fight in my opinion. So I wouldn't rank it as "best" in terms of excitement. Would have been an interesting tactical fight however if you like that sort of thing. (I do personally)

Shane should have fought him instead of worrying about his tooth. See below as well for the business reasons why it did not happen until later.

Young Oscar as well. Didn't need/want a fight with Mayweather: high risk, low reward at the time. Nature of the business unfortunately.

Really? He avoided a guy fighting 2-3 weight classes below him huh? Let me guess....Floyd called out DLH once or twice?

Floyd ducked Pac to beat up his GF. Not, not you. But you certainly don't mind Floyd beating up ladies. You probably think it's cool! Seeing the type of **** you are. :thumbsup

 stfu Lance. You yourself explained before why Kosta and Floyd could never fight eachother because of the networks and now you're blaming it on Floyd.
You flip flop more than anybody
