No it just means that PBF was willing to submit to random drug testing, and get the fight made.

So what's your excuse for Floyd not fighting the top WW's back in the day?

Floyd's greatest moment to this day, beating an old DLH.

That's what he will be remembered for.

Easily Pacquiao. Cotto would have been a big deal but looking back after Cotto-Pacquiao nobody mentions Cotto like they did in 08. Mosley in 2004 who gives a **** then ? Mosley was losing twice at 154 to Winky and Floyd had just debuted at 140. Best time Mosley and Mayweather could have fought was in 2007 after Mosley beat Collazo and Mayweather beat DLH when Shane was his mandatory WBC Challenger. No Floyd retired for about a month but came out to fight little Ricky Hatton.

Dude I'm not making "excuses" those situations have been discussed to the point of being boring. If you want to use hindsight and revisionist history you can discredit anybody, the man has an excellent resume and has beaten some great fighters, I'd love to see Manny take the challenge but no one can make him take the tests.

I don't see how Shane is even mentioned. Floyd fought him at the best possible time. When Shane was on top he had no ineterest in Floyd. Once shane started showing interest he wasn't very relevant any more. Floyd finally fought him after the big win against Margarito once Shane had shown he still had something left.

I think the Hatton fight would have been bigger if they had made it immidiatly after Tzyu. They were both at 140 at the time so all the nonesense about weight issues wouldn't have come up also hatton looked like **** against Collazo and Urango which sucked a lot of the hype out of that fight.

At the end of the day if the pacquiao fight does not get made, I don't see how there is any arugment for any other fight.

Its been discussed time and time again but it was simply Money. The "so called " Top WW's were Top Rank fighters, and Bob Arum offered Mayweather Lowball contract to fight them. Mayweather made on the DLH alone than Arum was offering for Marg Cotto, and Hatton.

I don't buy into the argument simply because he didn't go straight to DLH. He fought Baldo when he could have fought Marg. It would have been a career high payday for him and more than he made against Baldo.

There is school of thought that he felt baldo was the better fight because he was the "true" champion at the weight and was coming off the 2 big wins against Judah and Gatti. But it's hard to buy into that from a fighter who claims that everything that he does is based on money.

That leaves 2 arguments A: he really hates bob arum and took a lower payday just to **** him or B: he didn't want to risk a loss that might jeapordize the real money fight with DLH.

Can you post your source on the figures for Tony/Baldo fights?

Nah. Only about 80% of his posts are dedicated to Floyd-bashing.

if Floyd moved up and fought Mosley at LW, i honestly think its a 50/50 fight, the other two i believe Floyd easilly wins
