Some people truly confuse "close" and "controversial....

Those fights aren't "robberies", they are "controversial" or "close" decisions.

I never saw the Santa Cruz/Casamayour fight but i keep hearing that this was one of the worst robberies ever. For me, the recent Cintron/Martinez fight was probably the worst robbery i ever witnessed myself.

Martinez vs Cintron was pretty bad I agree.

Having to KO your opponent to get a draw really sucks.

Daft thing with that one is that both guys were 'neutral' fighters - Cintron may have been the 'house' fighter of sorts (correct me if I am wrong - not sure!) but still......

House fighter bias (in the UK) generally means where say a young prospect is fighting a journeyman and gets beat, he is handed a draw or a 58-57 victory where a 10-10 round is dug up from somewhere, or perhaps in a title fight the champ is given the chance to recover having beaten a count but looking unsteady...... not KO'ing the guy in the middle rounds, standing him on his head throughout the fight and being handed a draw.

Famoso Hernandez - Bobby Pacquiao was pretty awful.
That, and Casa - Santa Cruz are far worse than three of the fights on that list.
It really annoys me how every close fight is labelled a robbery.
I even remember a lot of people calling Winky - Taylor a robbery, come on!!
It, like Oscar - Shane, was a close fight with some hard-to-score rounds.

well, i wouldn't exactly call Cintron the hometown fighter, but at the least he was American....but yeah i get u, that **** was low, 1st time i've seen or heard of a fighter getting KO'd then walking away with a draw

you other countries could learn alot from us, we'll show you how to rob a foreign fighter the right way :good

The journeyman **** happens a lot though.

On the undercard of John Murray vs Lee McAllister (British 135lb title) not so long back...... there was a kid called Mo Khalid who has a losing record against a 5-0 prospect. This Khalid stood the opponent on his head, embarrassed and outclassed him really, yet was handed another loss.

How the 'winner' had the balls to hold his arm up after the fight and pose for the cameras..... I'm still not sure.
