Which is the more pathetic performance against a Klitschko?

Haye. After the build up for 2 years and promisning a first round KO,he didnt win a round,blamed his toe.

Johnson threw more shots in round 12 at Vitali than Haye threw in 12 rounds with Wlad with a stunning output of 4.

 

You cant make a case for Haye winning 1 round. He did nothing. He maby had a 10-10 round in round 3 when he threw 2 shots.

 

I agree, it was for the HW Championship and Haye fought like he was defending the belt rather than trying to win it.

 

I don't know why everyone hates on Haye so much for that fight. Wlad dictated with his reach and jab as always but his footwork negated Hayes attacks for the vast majority.

Can't stand wlad style but it is so effective. Still wouldn't get away with it against the greats of the division

 

I don't think anyone would have had a problem with Haye's performance if it wasn't for all the talking he'd been doing in the build up. After that you got the impression that he would put it all on the line even if it meant getting knocked out just to land that knockout blow.

If you take away all the **** talking and expectations he actually performed pretty well.

I didnt like Haye's reaction to Wladimirs persistent fouling but he was being leant upon by a 250lb man. Its a complete myth also that he ran away during the fight, he stood right in front of Wladimir for the entire fight making Klitschko miss, his main defence was his head movement not his foot speed. If you notice Wladimir had the better footwork throughout the bout yet still couldnt land anything big. Haye against Klitschko was a fascinating chessmatch with both fighters trying to implement a different gameplan on each other, Haye came off second best whilst trying to win, as a counter puncher Klitschko gave him nothing to take advantage of. Johnson was in full retreat mode and happy to duck and weave on the ropes despite Vitali being wide open to punches, he only wanted to survive.

 

Haye was more pathetic considering all the pre fight **** talking and the post fight excuses. Showing his little toe at the press conference was priceless

Actually, Solis was doing pretty well until his glass knee collapsed

If Solis wasn't the fat tub of lard with glass head/glass knee he is, it could have been a great match

That's pretty much how I see it, even though I think he lost every round he still avoided being KO'd. If I'm not mistaken, Wlad had one of his lowest connect percentages ever against Haye, and he still managed to win a shutout.

 

Agree with this. Both fought well. Just wasn't exciting to watch.
