Amongst the two above, which is which? :think

Floyd is one of my fav fighters but c'mon... fighting JMM at 147 just isn't fair.

Surely you don't believe this...do you? You guys tried to poll the wool over our eyes when PAc was fighting Dlh. You won't do it with Floyd either. This is a great fight period.

Making Oscar drain to 147 isn't fair. Coming up in weight is still easier than going down.:deal

Yeah... but pac going up 2 divisions after having just 1 fight at lightweight and considering oscar's physical advantages wasn't fair either. :deal

FYI. Oscar called out pac and want to fight him, coz he sad "it's personal".

1st off, the fight is at 143, not 147.

2nd, i didnt hear anybody bashing DLH, for making Floyd fight at 154 even though Floyd only weighed in at 149. If Floyd had of lost, no one would've made the same excuses for him that everyone is making for marquez.

    3. I don't know why people keep calling Floyd a natural Welter. Out of 39 fights, he's had a whopping 4 at WW, 1 fight at super middle against DLH in which he was clearly smaller, and 35 fights at 140 and below. Mayweather is not a big guy, this is a fair fight, and he wins becasue he is one of the best period!

Why are people trying to edge the catchweight down for Floyd-JMM and think people won't notice.

    It's 145, then it's gone down to 144 & now 143.

But atleast JMM has the energy to actually fight and punch back against JMM. Unlike Oscar v Pac.

I don't know where someone got 145 from. Look it up, the official catchweight is 143.

Is there any confirmation of the fight being at 147 besides a ring magazine blog that utilized no specific quotes and doesn't identify a source for the information?

No. JMM has every chance to beat him but fighting floyd at his natural weight class just made it even more difficult.

The difference is that Floyd cherry picked for six years while Manny mashed all his in six months.

PBF/JMM is great but even Floyd said "A great big man will always beat a great little man". He also said something like: " A man that has already been beat lays out the game plan for me"
