should of worded it being batterd and humliated for 12 rounds or being kod

i would pick the ko especially if it is out of luck getting abused and beaten up for 12 rounds is the worst punishment a boxer can get

Well, do you figure Tarver vs. Jones II or III haunts Roy's dreams more?

LOSING, whether by KO or by schooling, equally hurts a boxer's pride...

The worst has to be DQ, actually.

If you are beaten fair and square, and you did your best, there is nothing to really get hung about.

A disqualification means either of two scenarios, however - no grey area:

    1. It was a warranted disqualification, which means you BLEW IT. You just gave it away, stupidly picking up a loss instead of letting things run whatever their natural course was...
    2. It was a case of bad (or shady) officiating discretion - leaving you to feel cheated, not defeated...which is worse, because, again, you have a loss without that being the natural conclusion that you and your rival would have otherwise reached.
Scenario #2 is probably similar to how one feels suffering a points robbery or premature stoppage. At least in any of those cases, there is someone to blame. In scenario #1 above, it all rests on your own shoulders. That has to carry with it more regret than simply not being the best man on the night.

They both equal a loss... They both can be the end of your career... And you can wind up with brain damage after both of them...

There's no difference, but I guess ur less likely to wind up with brain damage if the guy isn't trying to stop u
