Which kind of fight do you prefer: knock-down, drag-out brawls or tactical, craft-filled fights?

Do y'all prefer fights like Gatti/Ward or fights like Toney/McCallum?

I love a good brawl like anyone does, but i also love to see a good tactical fight as well. Toney/McCallum for me.

The two things can converge, and that's the best-case scenario.

Fine w/ either so long as the 'craft skilled fights' aren't just two guys over feinting each other, lulling the audience to death.

It depends who's fighting and as others have said you can have both in a fight.

    Great question!

A Gatti/Ward-type fight is always fun to watch but a craft filled tactical fight is just inspiring sometimes since you really get to see each fighters individual skill and what they’re known for, example JMM’s counter punching or Morales’s feints. Would depend on how eager each fighter is willing to engage though.

It's been a while since we've had a good brawl so I will say that just because I miss them.

Technical brawls for me. Examples... Leonard/Hearns I & II, Chavez v Rosario, Chavez vs R Mayweather I & II, Toney/Nunn, Toney/McCallum I & II, Norris/Waters. I like action, but the sweet science has to be evident.

As long as at end of fight the true winner triumphs, then I don't care if it is a brawl or a fancy dan tactical fight.

When the names of the judges, are virtually getting as much publicity post fight as that of the fighters, then you know there is something wrong with our sport.
