Mayweather-Judah was an excellent display of boxing skills. Judah won the first four rounds by outspeeding Mayweather, he made it competitive. Then Mayweather started chasing and hunting Judah to hurt him, and then he outboxed him to win the rest of the fight.

Yes, I like those lame fights. I prefer them over an unorganized brawler's mess. Tastes are tastes. :thumbsup

Pure boxing is boring. I want excitement, I prefer brawl.

I like both, as long as there is back-and-forth action.

One-sided fights are boring if they are of the technical type or leave a bad taste in my mouth if they are brawls, unless you really want to see someone in particular lose.

I like either as long as it's enjoyable to watch.

    I like to see both.
But the difference is. After a boxing match I feel I know which fighter is the better practitioner of the sport. After a brawl you know who's tougher in some instances, but you don't know what would happen if the "Brawl" again.
At least in a boxing match you know they will have to step it up next time they face each other. Two brawlers can basically do the same thing every time they see each other and a different one might get caught and fall every time.

Why would someone prefer brawling to pure boxing in a Boxing Forum, is this a psy test or a liar detector? You can like a fighter who mostly "brawls" to a boxer who doesn't have a fighting heart, but if you really like blood, headbutts, elbows, bites and low blows, there's always the MMA, UFC, or the local hood street fight.

Pure Boxing doesn't allow you to take a bite at someone's ear or "do whatever you need to in order to win" - I hope that mine is a good enough definition for you:

"Boxing is the art of hitting an opponent from the furthest distance away, exposing the least amount of your body while getting in position to punch with maximum leverage and not getting hit."

I understand what you're saying and I concede that there is subjectivity.

However at the exterme ends it's pretty objective.

Most people would agree on which categories to Mayorga and Mayweather.

Closer to the middle, it becomes subjective to a degree.

Think about it, they both threw a ton of punches and really werent wild with there punches either. I believe the fight broke a couple punch stat numbers as well.

it all depends on the styles of the fighters for me.

but i like brawls and boxing, i could not have one without the other to be honest.
