I think Vladimir did better than Vitali ( for Vladimir's 2nd fight with Petey anyway ). Peter had more experience and had a good fight plan and showed improved technique for Vlad part 2. SP's upper body movement was good and he did a decent job of jamming Klitschko's attacks & counter attacks by finding that distance where Klitschko couldn't get anything meaningful going, it's a small distance, but it's there. Klitschko did such a masterful job it made Peter look bad for somebody who hasn't really paid their dues in boxing in terms of sweat and blood. But it really was a good effort from Peter IMO, he was trying, he worked in the gym, I could see it in the fight, very unlike say Vitali vs Kirk Johnson where Johnson was so overconfident or underconfident he basically lost that fight in the gym.

I'm glad there's still some logical discretion left in you.

Wlad was better! Peter was well trained against Wlad. Great job from The Champ.

    No **** :)

Wlad took his soul by rd 3.
Took his eyesight by rd 6.
And then knocked him the **** out. First man to do so.
    Wlads win over vitalis.

I still think it's a close call. You, like others make a good case. It seems to me that many posters "Vitali" argument goes along these lines. The expectation for Vitlai to win (long layoff, etc) was lower than Wlads, therefore Vitali's win was "better" - it was an earlier stoppage.

But that's not how the OP framed the question, which is why I think it's a close call. SP was in better shape vs Wlad. Not disagreeing, just bringing up a point about the expectations.

Lets just say Wlad fought the better version of Peter.

was he really in better shape tho?

i watched that ringside boxng program on friday, not sure if you are from the uk or not, but it is a boxing magazine on sky sports. and david haye was on it, he made an interestng point about peter, even tho his weight and shape was good, his punch resistance aint what it once was.

and haye was proved right come fight night. peter was not able to walk through wlads shots anymore.

now im not saying peter is shot, but he was noticeably tougher in the first wlad fight.
