Vitali, but you have to keep in mind that he could easily be injured during a fight, during training, while brushing his teeth or walking his dog.

Barring that, definitely Vitaly. Wlad lacks durability, and because of it, confidence and conviction.

Well that's the thing..... cut stoppages and injuries, fair or not, ARE a part of boxing and cause losses. Every fighter has his weakness and injury is Vitali's main weakness it appears.

    Vitali, same as always.

Only question with Vitali is will he be injured before or during the fight. If not, he wins every time. That's not my opinion, it's his ledger.

Even Chris Byrd -- one of the fortunate two (along with Lennox Lewis) who were trailing on the scorecards when Vitali suffered an injury that required a bout stoppage -- has said that Vitali is harder to fight than Wlad.

Same Byrd whom Wlad destroyed in their second fight.

If Vitali had fought Wladimirs opponents, he would have more losses on his record.

Vitali boxed Puritty, Sanders, Peter after his brother so he could use the experience from Wladimir.

Wladimir is the much better boxer with the much better opponents.

We don't know what would have happened IF Vitali had fought Wladimir's opponents.

Yes, Wlad is the better boxer with a much better resume. Personally, I like Wlad more than Vitali.

But the thread asks "Which Klitschko are you more confident in during a fight at this moment?" and my answer to that is definitely Vitali.

He would have lost. Vitali never boxed his mandatory. He retires in 2005 because of injuiries. And know he is back? I wonder if he will box against Gomez.

Wlad is the man. He did not avaoid any mandatory and unified.

hmm...which of wlad´s opponents would have beaten Vitali?!
I agree Wladimir is the better boxer from a technical standpoint, but overall Vitali is harder to beat.

Chris Byrd beat Vitali. I believe Thompson could beat Vitali and Samuel Peter of 2005 could would have beaten Vitali, Ray Mercer maybe. Corrie Sanders in 2003 without Wlad loss and the knowledge how to box him. vitali had the experience of his brothers losses.

    Wladimir's Strengths:

    Technique
True 1 Punch KO Power with Either Hand
    Experience

    Wladimir's Weaknesses:

Adversity, But That's Changed for the Better
Stamina, But That's Changed for the Better
    In-Fighting

    Vitali's Strengths:

    Aggression
    Precision
    Defensive Reflexes

    Vitali's Weaknesses:

    Injury Prone

You're clearly a Vitali hater. I don't mind that, but the things you say have nothing to do with this thread's topic.

The question in this thread is not about ducking, better resume, better boxing skills and injuries. It is about which Klitschko are ESB poster more confident in, during a fight.

Whenever Wlad fights someone with decent power, the opponent will ALWAYS have a puncher's chance. Always.

That's not the case with Vitali.

I agree. Vitali's loss against Byrd was due to career-threatening rotator cuff injury which required surgery. His loss against Lewis was by ref stoppage due to cuts. In both losses he was ahead on the cards. He's never been knocked down in a professional boxing match either and he's faced some pretty big hitters.

I'm confident both of these robots will continue to bore us while they reign over the division.
