Vitali... very high punchoutput for a heavyweight, pummels most of his opponents to submission, is the one coming forward in almost every fight.

I've always found Vitali's style really ugly, everything he does looks so goofy and awkward.

I'd pick Vitali, he's the weaker puncher, he's got that weird stance that can be avoided, as Chisora demonstrated, but his style is impossible to imitate, he's one of a kind as a defensive boxer

Wlad is the killer puncher, I wouldn't want to eat those sickening jabs and right hands from him, but he's predictable, he has only 3 or 4 punches in his arsenal

Vitali! His unorthodox style is amasing. He can punch from all angles, very high workrate, barely clinch, can counterpunch, good chin, fights with both hands down! Vitali gave us some exiting fights.

Since Wlad working with Steward he is boring, but better!

Imagine Wlad with Vitali's iron chin. Imagine Vitali with Wlad's resolve.

It's really tough to pick, but when I watched Wlad dominate the Olympics, I didn't even know Vitali. When they turned pro it was Wlad who was getting airtime. I grew to boast on him as a prospect.
Of course Vitali came roaring up soon after in terms of notoriety, but when he'd RTDd against Byrd most thought he was weak mentally and Wlad kept on trucking through the Blevel guys like a hot knife through butter.

Some would agree that Vitalis fight with Lewis was the best between the 2, but I think the way Wlad dominated ByrdX2 and Peter in their first fight was just as compelling, as was his return from the Brewster(sickness).

Hard to pick really, but I'd take Wlad as the more likable guy. Vitali, being gone with back injuries and political ambitions really limited his legacy, and without Wlads flair and being the more subdued fighter.....yeah, Wlad.:think

Vitali. As stated before, he is a natural fighter and I think enjoys the sport. Wlad has learned how to fight, it isn't natural to him, being in The ring is a job for him.

Prime for prime vitali was the more entertaining fighter, much more active in The ring, willing to engage, never afraid, and is extremely awkward and unorthodox which I appreciate and enjoy watching. He has the ability to adjust, something Wlad doesn't do well. Wlad is the better skilled boxer, much more talent, better athlete, punches much harder and is much faster and accurate, but he lacks the killer instinct. Vitali has this. Vitali likes hurting people, I love it.

Vitali ... far more aggressive and willing to take chances. I respect that Wlad gets the job done but he's boring as **** in doing it.

Vitali is tough and he has those insticts and so I rather see him but Wladimir is in very good shape and very well seasoned so... Wladimir will always have the more dangerous opponents and even if he doesn't make good fights of these, at least you gat to admit it's difficult to pull out a win against this guy.

I like different aspects of both fighters. Can't really pick.

I very much enjoy watching Wlad's boxing ability, power, speed. He does things no other HW's his size do (even smaller guys can't do), like quadruple left hooks ala RJJ. He has spectacular KO's, and incredible ring generalship. There really isn't a fight Wlad didn't control every single round aside from his losses (even those he controlled all the way up until defeat).

With Vitali, it's all about attitude. The guy is a born badass plain and simple. Look at who he picked for his last opponent. Chisora's name was pretty low-value; he had lost to Fury, and been robbed against Helenius. Coming off two losses, yet this guy was the BEST possible challenge. Vitali took that fight because that's what he wants - someone that can actually give him a fight. It's a shame this guy couldn't get more Lennox Lewis type fights, look at the explosiveness and lasting impact just one fight had.

Vitali is tough, mean, merciless. Sometimes you want to watch that in a boxer. Sometimes you want to watch a true killer. That's Vitali. Other times you want to watch a beautiful application of the sweet science. Add to that some of the biggest power in boxing history and you have Wladimir.

Vitali is more aggressive, throws more punches, but I like watching them both the same because they deliver knock outs in 90% of their fights.
