unless your boy gets down to 240ish, he has no chance either. even when he was undefeated and in top shape, peter was gassed from walking into puches and chasing waldo around the ring. people seem to ignore those facts

 

While your right Derrick, Wlad did get badly rocked by a Brewster jab in the 3rd round, he didnt go down. While in a fight against Williamson later that year, I do remember him getting floored by a TOS jab.:yep

 

You're kidding right? "Ignore facts"??? How about you getting your facts right? Sam had only been past the 7th round twice in HIS ENTIRE CAREER before the Wlad fight. He was in there with the HW champ. He was very green and really had no business being in that type of fight so early at his maturity stage. The thing people seem to forget is he went the distance with Wlad, knocked him down 3 times with glancing blows, not pure power shots and lost a 114-111 decision.

Well that's what being a fan is about: supporting your guy even when he's down. I agree that many of them are annoying, but it's something else than the other 90% who drops their favorite fighter and calls them overrated, a bum, exposed, etc, when he loses.

 

I don't care that much either way about Wlad.

He deserves much more credit than his brother.
