does Paquiao even need to fight Mayweather? yes I would love to see the fight but Mayweather needs Pac now more than May....who can Maywether fight that anyone really cares about beyond Pac?

only Williams or Martinez,,,,,and if Martinez wins and Pac challenges him at 154, Mayweather is effectively locked out.

Well maybe Cotto or Cintron are options for Mayweather even Berto, what do you guys think?

As it stands, Mayweather needs Pacquiao more. If the fight fails to materialize, it's his legacy which will be dented more.

  5. at this point, i dont even think loss at the hands of mayweather would affect manny's legacy. he has accomplished too much already. mayweather is beginning to look like a pretender to the lb 4 lb throne. manny is king. he reigns supreme. i honestly like mayweather. i think he's an incredible boxer. he had the potential to become an atg, but that time has passed. what a waste. all the good boxers of this era have been destroyed by manny pacquiao. mayweather is still a great boxer. in terms of ability he's an atg.

If Floyd and Manny never fight, as of right now, Floyd's legacy would suffer more. That could change if Floyd does something like beat the Martinez/Williams winner, but that's an unlikely prospect given Floyd's history.

Mayweather's definetley. He already ducked a prime Tszyu when he could of faced him to enhance his legacy and Pacquiao seems to be the only 1 who says he wants the fight. Mayweather needs Pacquiao more. Manny has cemented his legacy as an all time great regardless.

3 years back..if someone mentioned PAc will dominate Margo people would have laughed. 3 years back Floyd wouldnt fight Margo.

PAc dont need Floyd, Floyds in the rearview very far right now.

    Easy question, easy answer.
Mayweather has a good but incomplete legacy and resume.
Pac has a great legacy and resume.

Who knows? Williams and Mayweather are under the same management, so floyd could get a crack at Williams...
