Which legitimately won fight, has resulted in the most tears from the loser's fans?

Likewise Louis-Schmeling I could be on the list of tear jerking heartbreakers

I was gonna add that too, but I think the devastation caused to Schmelings fans in the rematch overshadows it because it was politically charged.

"I am just glad that the forum did not exist when Jack Johnson beat Jim Jeffries."

I lost FOURTEEN dollars betting on Jeffries. Lost my Steamer because of it. I'm still sore about it...

Well that was still no reason to throw a rock at that black tailor who was celebrating Johnson's win!

Meldrick Taylors stoppage seems to get a lot of support....I may have been very very sad. Although the stoppage was correct IMO[/QUOTE]

I'd take the Meldrick Talyor stoppage as well .. but I do not agree with the stoppage .. 10 second warning was given to end the fight ,, and he stops with 1 second to go. Taylor was in trouble but I didn't think Steele had a great vantage point to see Taylor was still coherent enough to get through the fight .. imo... As you see with Taylor's reaction to the stoppage ,, the look on his face and slightly shaken his head as to say no way ... Have to admit I'm not a huge Richard Steele fan so it was a tough pill to swallow .. where was Miles Lane when I needed him ..lol .. Curious to hear your thoughts of the good stoppage?

Richard Steele asked him twice, in quick succession, whether he was okay, and Meldrick didn't respond, the trouble is though, he was waving his hands almost before he'd got to the end of the sentence the 2nd time he asked him.

Gotta be tough to take that.

I've always wondered if Pacquiao's miraculous salt water shoulder recovery was actually achieved via the tears of the Philippines.

    Hatton v Tszyu.
Tszyu's supporters still whinge about Hatton's "rough house" tactics and "sympathetic refereeing" to this day.
