Yes, he probably achieved more than he could've hoped for though, but still no big titles.

He is one of the only heavies of this era that have fought all comers and given everybody a good fight, and sometimes press conferences..

Should've achieved more if some close fights had been judged differently.

Sturm was scared of Abraham and Abraham doesn't belong on a list like this. They don't compare sorry. Abraham was willing to fight any mw in the world at MW.

Isn't that what the thread is about?

Atleast he dared to step up, over and over again, that's why he's got my respect.

I think a heart condition forced retirement?
Yeah, didn’t he have something like 2 weeks notice with Ramirez? I thought Ovill won that aswell, but it was scored a draw if I recall?

Bradley Skeete is my guilty pleasure. He's like an inverse Amir Khan - few physical gifts but contrasting mental gifts - boxes intelligently, knows how to take a knee, has the discipline to keep to a strategy that maximises his strengths. Seems to be a nice fella too... (but I won't pretend he makes for exciting fights). Frankie Gavin getting the decision against him was poor judging to my mind.

credit for Abraham fighting Miranda and entering the super six tourney, but one fight in the states against Miranda doesn't signal intent to move up and fight the best
agree he did a whole lot more than sturm though

    Austin Trout
Gets dropped bad by Canelo but wins many rounds
Gets dropped and beat bad by Lara
    Gets beat, barely, by Charlo
Gets stopped by Hurd after boxing his head off early

Only an armchair brings up sparring, and all you saw was what I saw. Nothing.
