How do you see Joe Choynski getting the best of a prime Jack Johnson?

I like this. I think it is almost impossible for him to take on three guys at one time.

Bob Foster, Michael Spinks, Evander Holyfeild, Mathew Muhammad, Dwight Braxton, Archie Moore, in other words, almost any championship caliber fighter from 1940's on up. Their was nothing that special about Johnson. Esp comparing him to most modern fighters, even light heavyweights.

Foster's record against heavyweights of any ability does not bring substance to his choice , nether do Saad's or Braxton's

    Johnson has three main issues.

    1 ) He was not a puncher.

2 ) He was very conservative in terms of the amount of punches he threw and could be out worked.

3 ) When hit flush, he did not have the best chin.

In his day He was KO'd by Choysnki, floored by Ketchel, and according to primary sources outboxed over 6 rounds by Jack O'Brien.

We must ask ourselves were Choynski, Ketchel, and O'Brien as light heavyweights better than say:

    Archie Moore
    Ezzard Charles
    Sam Langford
    Gene Tunney
    Bob Foster
    Tommy Loughran
    Michael Spinks
    Bob Fitzsimmons
    Billy Conn
    Roy Jones, Jr.
    Maxie Rosenbloom
    John Henry Lewis
    Harry Greb
    Sergey Kovalev

My short answer is NO they were not in just about all cases, and anyone of these 14 guys I listed was better than the opponents Johnson selected for his title defenses, save Willard.

I'm not going to pick them all individually but I will say if Johnson fought then all, he's going to lose quite a few times.
