All of them other than Foreman, Ali and Bowe

And Bowe and Foreman are 50-50s

Larry Holmes would have dumped him in 11 at the latest...Liston was one of those has-a-great-jab-but-really-hates-getting-jabbed types. Liston might have floored him at some point, but Larry would have messed him up worse than Ali (overall Larry was a more punishing, heavier puncher; and that jab had SO much to do with it).

Foreman, Bowe, Holyfield, Lewis, Louis, Spinks. All could have beat him. I think Tyson would have got caught eventually and lost.

On his A game he would be a threat to anybody.

Shame he couldn't stay hungry once he held the title.

No i think Holmes is up on the cards before Liston stops him

Liston was a better puncher and finisher than Shavers with as much power, and a bigger reach I think he wins it

The better question might be which ones doesn't he beat.

What good is better reach when you have a hard fast punishing jab in your face all night. Holmes jab was faster he utilized it more both offensively and defensively and he had much better balance when he threw it. Liston isnt out jabbing Holmes. No one is. Holmes by TKO

I'd favor Ali, Lewis and maybe Joe Louis. No-one else would be better than evens.

I never said that Liston outjabs Holmes because I agree Holmes outjabs Liston, but Shavers managed to land his right over it and so would Liston, and then Liston would be able to finish Holmes, Liston has as much power as Ernie and much better fundimentals, as well as having the reach advantage to throw an overhand over Holmes's jab

Also Shavers and Norton went the distance with a prime Holmes, Liston was much better and had a munch better chin

There you go comparing because fighter A and B did this and that.
Listen every fight is a different and new fight. What if Liston never lands the right??? That's all anybody says when mentioning Holmes
Enough already. Shavers landed the best right hand he ever threw and not only did Holmes get up but he turned the tide back in the same round. BTW Liston does not hit harder than Shavers.
Holmes frustrates the heck out of Liston befor stopping him.

Well it's a fantasy match up, we need to base it off something and Shavers is the closest thing Larry faced to a prime Liston imo
I know, that's what makes the sport great
But... What if he does? And as I said lesser fighters dropped and hurt Larry.
If he doesn't land his power punches during the fight then yes, Holmes wins on points
I know, I can't even comprehend the fire Larry has in him to get up from it, but I think that Liston was much better than Shavers in litterally everyway except his right Uppercut
Again, the heart he showed was incredible but had it been Liston who landed that over hand right he would've jumped on Larry the second he was up
Have you been hit by both? Shaver's power is overrated. Ali says that Shavers hit harder coz he lay on the ropes and took bomb after bomb, he didn't really take many serious punches off Liston even in the 5th round

Forgive me for the nipicking, but for me Holmes began peaking as a boxer Shavers I, but he matured as a puncher come Evangelista. By the time he fought Ali he had completely matured in every respect and was unbeatable imo.

Liston would have gotten even angrier and probably more scared than against Ali versus Holmes. Holmes just plain threw nasty punches, and he was fine with mixing it up dirty. Liston either would have quit after failing to follow up on a (possible) Holmes knockdown, or ended up not unlike Shavers II.

Hard for me to see Liston losing to Lewis. Lewis barely beat Mercer if at all.
