Jeffries would follow the trend of his career, in that he'd get beaten up for rounds on end vs a middleweight, only this time he can't KO him.

    James beats Jeffries.

After that I'd pick him over: Johnson (with modern rules), Willard, Braddock, Patterson, Ingo, Moorer, Old Foreman and Briggs.

Moorer and Patterson I disagree with, without a doubt he would be far too slick against Foreman (Styles) I think he could beat Micheal Spinks as well.

I was hesitant on Moorer, but I think if it's the verison who fought Jirov/Holyfield vs the verison of Moorer who fought Steward/Cooper, Toney could get it done.

Patterson's style is all wrong for facing Toney IMO.

A discussion for a more awake me, but I think both are 60/40 in favour of the more accomplished fighters at HW.

Toney would beat Moorer, the size difference wasn't huge and Moorer was largely one handed. James was faster too.

Patterson on the other hand would be a very close fight IMO. James wan't a huge puncher at heavyweight and Floyd had the speed and volume and stamina to keep himself in the fight for quite a while.

He convincingly outpoints Carnera, Jefferies, Willard, Johansson, Shannon Briggs.

He beats the breaks off of Leon Spinks like he stole something from him.

Patterson and Schmeling I would give Toney a 40% chance against both. They would be highly competitive and entertaining bouts. Patterson's work rate and hand speed gives Toney a lot to think about while Schmeling brings his own counter punching to the table. They are below average in size by modern standards and don't have that bone crushing power or tremendous durability either but have tons of stamina, skill, and ring IQ.

Michael Spinks would be pretty challenging with his shiftyness and ring IQ. I'd have to think hard about that one but Toney could certainly pull off a win at his best.

Moore has the tools to win but could be too aggressive for his own good and may walk into a nasty counter or try too hard to knockout the iron chinned Toney and gas out. Both mistakes could cost him the fight.

Sullivan, Jeffries, Willard, Carnera, Baer, Johansson, L Spinks, Douglas (50/50 as it depends on which Douglas shows up), Old Foreman ( close UD or SD), Briggs.

Some of this picks are here are shocking. First take Toney off Roids. There goes his power and ability to get someone;s respect.

Secondly Sam Peter beat him twice by out boxing him. Now which lineal champions could be really beat?

They very small who can't punch, and thats about it. Shannon Briggs would badly KO Toney. Willard is too big for him, so is Carnera.

We are down to Marvin Hart, Jimmy Braddock, and Maybe Leon Spinks.

Truthfully, I wouldn't be confident of him beating any of them.

    Why would you be?
