Conor Mcgregor gets knocked out cold (video + hilarious memes) This one is a tough one for me With Mcgregor vs Khabib, it was kind of expected that Khabib would win because he is Conor's stylistic nightmare + he was on a 2 year layoff. The extreme trash talk and disrespectful antics made this fight more embarrassing than it really was. Mcgregor vs Porier was pretty humiliating because Porier beat Conor at his own game. Conor was more respectful and humble in the build up, but people still mercilessly troll him. Which fight was more embarrassing for you and why?
Why is it embarrassing when a guy loses? I would like to see a 3rd fight and see what happens. But to me the difference between wining and losing at this level is more about styles, strategy conditioning and execution there is so little separating most of them. No shame
Insecure people often use criticism and the shaming of others as a way to feel better about themselves. See, people that are insecure consistently feel bad about themselves, and often they don't know how to feel better about themselves in a healthy and productive way. So they often resort to criticizing celebs.
The first one was embarrassing purely for all his mouth he then was cowardly enough to say “it’s just business” in an attempt to get Khabib to ease up on him. He also consistently tried to cheat throughout the fight in an attempt to get the ref to stand them up again. The defeat to Poirier wasn’t embarrassing. Dustin is the better fighter at that weight as are a number of others. connor is too old to cut the weight and enjoy the height/reach advantage he had down at FW now.
It`s humiliating because most people were saying Connor was going to stop Poirier early and because a lot of fans feel Connor is one of the greatest MMA fighters of all-time, the Khabib fight was humiliating because of all the bull Connor was saying in the presser before that bout.
One only answer here. He trained very hard for the Poirier rematch, remained respectful throughout the build-up, and lost what was a good, exciting and close fight. The Khabib fight is a different story.
I don't know much about MMA but Conor McBurger was more embarrassing when he rematched Dustin because that was his chance to redeem himself and lost in the FIRST ROUND. McBurger is literally the UFC's version of Floyd Mayweather, let's just be real.
