Let's face it, Vlad used to flounder like a fish out of water, until his corner managed to sneak a puffer in unnoticed. Which of Joe Louis's opponents make him gas, gas, gas? Given a level playing field in the 30's and 40's, I'll go for Tommy Farr, Max Baer, Buddy Baer and Arturo Godoy.
Hard to say. I think it would be difficult to distinguish Wlad from some of Louis' bum of the month' victims. He'd be on the tour though.
