this thread isn't about that for me

I personally was just rooting for some great fights but instead
they weren't very memorable at all

    Joshua vs Ruiz was boring...

Kovalev took a dive for $$$ to be another scalp on the Hungarian Irishman Cinnamon Golden Boy that represents Mexico! lmao

None of which matters, only thing that matters is that Canelo and Joshua are milked Cash Cows for the coffer's of their handlers!!

At least Kova trained and came in fighting shape vs Ruiz who had not trained since the first match, sat on his couch eating carne asada while doing Promo training videos to fool everybody that he was training when in fact he sat on his couch for 5 months getting hog fat.

Not AJ's fault, to be fair.

To me it wasn't boring because of how Joshua boxed but because Ruiz didn't come to defend his belts

Both fights had legit results which considering the last year or so is something we should at least try to enjoy.

I think the DRAW given for Wilder vs Fury was a plus for both fighters and HELPED boxing

Wrong. It helped them but screwed us as fans and the sport as a whole.

Joshua-Ruiz went pretty much as I expected.

Kovalev-Canelo was more disappointing because although I picked Canelo to win, Sergey seemed to be doing okay up until the KO. And also because I'm a Kovalev fan (I've never been a fan of Ruiz) I hated to see Sergey knocked out.

If Fury would of won like he should of then we would of have the rematch straight away as rematch rather than have the three champs all ending up on separate networks.

If Wilder lost his 0 he would of prob been more up for taking risks and winning our respect rather than hiding behind his unbeaten record and blaming us for doubting him despite being unwilling to offer much in the way of proof.

Joshua vs. Ruiz II was terrible. Terrible. Not because of Joshua but because of Ruiz. I was rooting for Ruiz and I fault him entirely for that awful showing which resulted in the entirety of the fight being lousy.

Canelo vs. Kovalev II featured long term tactics playing out, punches being thrown, and saw the underdog take a lead over the favorite before a dramatic KO finish. Sounds good, not disappointing. But we all know who the vast majority was rooting for.

I don't think either were a disappointment. We knew what Joshua's strategy was gonna be, we knew that Canelo Kovalev was gonna be a tactical affair.

Joshua's improvement and footwork was a joy to watch, and he showed his commitment, ring IQ and ability to stick to a game plan.
Canelo's Headmovement, accuracy and let's be honest, history making, was unbelievable as well.

I don't see what the problem here is.

From a technical perspective, both were very entertaining, of all people, I'm surprised some of the biggest boxing fans in world can't see this.

How was AJ-Ruiz II a disappointment? I thought AJ boxed beautifully...
