which Micky Ward fight?

    I just saw "the Fighter." In the movie, they show Dicky having Micky jump up and down between rounds to wake up his legs. In the movie, it's in the Shea Neary fight. But it didn't happen in the real Neary fight.


    So I was wondering if anyone knows which fight it actually happened in?

    Micky also didn't even go down in the actual fight, and he did in the movie. Given that I heard HBO commenting on it, I'd imagine it has to be in a fight of his. I'll look in to that.

    Read Irish Thunder. If it happened, it'd be in there. I think the book or at least a good bit of it is on google books.

    not sure but i believe ward did go down in that fight. it's in ward's top 5 fights and one of his better performances. i'm drunk though and prone to be wrong, even in ward fights.
