Now, I don't think anyone gives him much challenge. Maybe Pirog could've given him some issues if his back wasn't as fragile as a stack of Pringles due to Pirog's length, but even then, I wouldn't bank on it.

 

Chavez of course. He has the chin to weather the storm and take GGG to the later rounds where he can become the bully.

 

IF Chavez can squeeze back down to 160 & Roach/Ariza can get him in shape and focused then he's got a great chance, he won't seek solitude against the ropes like Macklin, Chavez is massive & would command the centre of the ring, if the fight takes place at the Staples Centre, the Alamodome or the Cowboys stadium with a big pro Mexican I'd actually lean towards Chavez

 

Sergio MArtinez would be his biggest challenge at 160. Even though it seems like people are writing him off in this matchup, if Sergio came back from his injury 100% he does have the boxing ability, counterpunching ability and leg movement to make this a great fight.

Martinez is such an unorthodox fighter I could see him giving GGG fits in the ring. The X factors in all of this is how well Sergio's chin could hold up to GGG's bombs and how well could Golovkin handle the counterpunches that'll come his way when he doesn't expect them. That's the best fight they can make at MW right now.

Quillin has the power for sure. And for all those picking Martinez? I just saw Murray make him look old and washed up on the way to getting robbed.

 

Qullin's hand speed(his only advantage over Gennady)tends to slow down after round 4. I think GGG will brutalize him in the mid rounds

 

I don't think Quillin has as much power as him, but he has enough to keep him honest, and coupled with his handspeed would be problematic for GGG. I think he could put some serious rounds in the bank against him and survive the last half of the fight picking off a round or two in the process. 7-5 decision that has all the GGG dicksuckers on ESB in a rage.


I see Murray standing toe to toe with him and making GGG very uncomfortable with his willingness to take his power and trade. I can see Murray actually winning convincingly (like he did against Martinez in my opinion).
