    While watching it live, I was sure the ref was going to stop the fight that round or the next if Hagler didn't finish it. Hagler must have been thinking something similar, because from when they look at the cut until the end, Hagler turned it up an extra notch and was going for the kill.

    I believe Hagler said post-fight....exactly what you stated above ^.

    Well, McClellan was also a cruiserweight against Jackson, from what I hear. Easier to take bombs when you have 20 or so pounds on a guy.

    I thought this was common knowledge, they were going to stop the fight, I saw a brilliant film study on this, it was an iconic round because of that reason.

    Steve Collins never took a shot from a power puncher like Hearns and Eubank could have finished him in their first fight.

    You really are an imbecile.

    The shots he took from Nigel Benn (who blew out DeWitt and Barkley of course..) without even blinking were unreal.

    Eubank caught him square and unbalanced, but still a good shot and wasn't wobbly when he got up - he was laughing on the way down.
