I can't believe how many of you think Fury is a fluke like Rahman. He just conquered Klitschko in impressive, dominating fashion. He's an elusive, awkward, skilled boxer, who happens to stand at 6 foot 9 inches.

He'll be at the top for years and when he faces the other top dogs expect another slow, boring yet dominating performance.

    It is what it is.

I think he'll beat Wlad in the rematch, it wasn't a case of Fury getting lucky by landing a lucky punch or Wlad not training as Wlad has always been nothing but professional and consistent with his preparation. Wlad's time has past and I don't think he can alter his style at this stage to change the outcome this time around.

But I'm not sure that Fury will have a lengthy reign. He balloons up in weight between fights and that ages a fighter, his inconsistent conditioning could see him lose to an inferior fighter he overlooks. Suffice to say he will need to change a lot of things if he is to be champion for long.

I picked Ali's, because I think Fury will lose his title to Povetkin but can win it back against anyone that Povetkin loses to (for example, Luis Ortiz).

I believe he will probably get a few decent wins, but the moment he gets in with someone who lands on him flush he's KO'd.

I don't think his chin is anywhere near resilient enough to keep the belts for long unless he just fights bums......(always a valid option in today's climate though) :patsch

Seriously though, there's some heavy-hitting, fast-handed guys circling around the upper tier at HW now.

I think the likes of Wilder, Ortiz, Joshua, Haye even....Could all KO Fury.

He isn't a very skilled boxer, he has limited power for his size and doesn't have a solid chin. The only thing that won him the Klitschko fight was his slipperiness (and Wlad's unwillingness to engage).

Anyone with a bit of speed and power will end his time at the top I reckon.

He won't hang around he will make as much money as quick as possible and get out

He knows what he wants and as his own mind and is his own man

His skillset ain't great but I do like Tyson the man , his twitter tips were brilliant

His sh it talk is even better

I see you voted for Douglas.

Buster chose to retire rather than give Tyson a rematch.

Does Fury look like he is retiring to you?

The hardest puncher in the division hit him flush and he didn't go anywhere.

I know its a cop out but I think i have to reserve my opinion til after the rematch

He hasnt fought many world class top heavies and his win over Wlad was impressive but was it more of what he did or what Wlad didnt do or something in between

If he beats Wlad again he will be in a position of safety as the best guy around will be out of the way. Wilder to me is a threat based on power. I have a tough time picking that fight. Povetkin is a dangerous fighter and he is a serious roadblock

I think it depends on how dedicated and focused Fury is and how well he stays healthy. Most would say Wlad is a fighter who has flaws and weaknesses, but he did reign a while. He showed up in great shape every fight and took every foe even the guys who had no chance seriously. He got injured a few times and smartly postponed when he needed and avoided career ending injuries to be a champ from 06 to 15.

I doubt Fury has the longevity, I dont have a logical explanation, most fighters just cant keep it all going for that long. I think fury being champ for more than 4 years will surprise me. He might pull a Lennox and start coughing up belts too

I Vote for Ken Norton type because he will Win some other fights before a youngster like Joshua will beat him with differnce is
he will not losing like Norton to Ali in the rematch.

    He will beat Wlad easy.

    Who Wlad?!

I doubt he's the hardest puncher in the division...and I don't recall him landing one flush punch on Fury in that 'fight'? :huh

I selected Norton, in this era he can probably stay relevant even after losing but won't actually be considered "the" man

I'm still not 100% sure what to make of Fury. He can fight some, he's game, and he has stamina. Combined with a huge height and reach advantage, he's trouble even if his chin is suspect. And his weight needs to stay where it was for WLad's

If he can clinch more I'd compare him to Henry Akindwande

I think he's going to lose the re-match to Wlad via TKO.
