Jones was 35 when he faced Tarver.

Prime for prime, Tommy doesn't land much on Roy and his own jaw was far more suspect than Roy's .

I don't see any version of Marvin catching Roy enough to do damage.

None of the fab 4 (or 5) would have had much of a chance with Jones.

Benitez never trained and still went he distance with Hearns , beat Duran easily and pushed a prime Leonard.

I doubt any fighter from 147 - 160 could touch him.

Also remember these men were not small , I hear how Floyd would do well against all of them but the smallest was Duran at what 5 8??

Tommy had very fast hands and one of the best jabs in the business. He was powerful and had a longer reach than RJJ. Roy had quick feet but Tommy would hunt him down and drop him late and winning a UD if Roy makes it that long. the only chance Roy had is if Tommy tanks (which is was his main issue not his chin until late in his career)

people seem to think of MMH in the SRL fight when his legs were shot. Hagler would cut of the ring on RJJ taking 2 to land one like he did with Tommy and taking him out.

Hopkins at 160. Not the guy who couldn't fight a hard 12 rounds anymore, but the Prime 160 Hopkins.
