The Marvelous One was never KO'd in his career, despite facing powerful punchers like Hearns and Duran. He is justifiably considered to have one of, if not the, best chins in history. If you had to bet, which of history's middleweight champs has enough power to break through and finish him would you put your money on?

Stanley Ketchel would be my choice, albeit for him to win it would have to be a KO, as I can't see him outpointing Hagler.

The Ray Robinson who kod Randy Turpin and Gene Fullmer, along with battering
the king of middleweight chins Jake LaMotta, could very well stop a Marvin Hagler
too...No MW had such a fusillade of deadly barrages as Ray Robinson.
One question ESB: Do you think that a Vito Antuofermo would last 15 rounds with
the Ray Robinson who ko'd the fighters above.? With respect to Antuofermo, I
    strongly doubt it...

Gennady Golovkin would brutally KO Hagler.

I like GGG but this is just silly.

Ketchel, Robinson, Graziano on a 1 in a million punch, Jackson?

How is it silly? It's quite obvious that if he lands the bombs on any middleweight in the world they are taking a dirt nap. I don't think Hagler would be any different. GGG is the most feared fighter at this weight in a very long time. Nobody wants to fight him with good reason.

Jackson is a decent choice but he's a bit of a glass cannon.

cannot mentally picture Hagler being stopped by anyone at 160...Michael Spinks yeah...back in the day. But it's a whole different weight class.

Again, I really like GGG but he hasn't fought anything near the calibre of Hagler's better challengers let alone the calibre of Hagler.

It is a giant leap of faith to think he would spark out HaglerÂ… GIANT...

Hagler took bombs from an all time great puncher in hearns one of the hardest hitters to ever live, who proved his one punch power from welter to cruiser.
while I don't like watching it, an aging hagler took repeated flush nukes from john mugabi who never went the distance in his pro life and never looked troubled in the slightest.
these are just a couple of examples which spring to mind.
I agree no one is kayo proof but I think hagler is as close as humans get.
At his best hagler had excellent defense and savvy, he was smart, versatile, adaptive and deadly.
robinson had power similar to hearns, who I think may both do it with a perfect shot but landing a perfect shot on the all time great hagler would be difficult in the extreme

I know that...as Bummy posted, that anyone can be knocked out with the right punch at the right time, but I honestly can't see anyone knocking out Hagler......and that's just one of the reasons that I rank him only second to Monzon as far as middleweight greatness is concerned.

GGG would knock toney, roy and hagler out in the same night. He's on a different level.
