Showtime are my favourite as a team...Al Bernstein like others have said has great boxing insights & always tries to be neutral when commentating rather than just looking at what 1 fighter does. Unfortunately i feel it happens too much on HBO.

For arrogant comments at times Larry Merchant & Teddy Atlas are always good for a laugh & asking the tough questions.

Are you looking for most knowledgeable i.e. in terms of years in the sport or commentators that have the most "professional boxing" experience. Larry Merchant, Harold Lettermen, Emanuel Steward & Jim Lampley are oldest to the youngest have most years around boxing. Letterman was a boxing Judge, so I'd have to say HBO since they all the old timers. Al Bernstein is the same age as Lampley born in 1949' Atlas was born 1954'

i prefer hbo for their production/broadcast and they're the best at what they do but i believe showtime with bernstein and tarver are the most knowledgeable even though they're not as good at announcing

HBO is pretty much best at everything. But their prehistoric commentators are awful.

Id combine Tessitore as a straight man, RJJ as my boxing expert (hes way better than tarver, and bernstein as my off commentATOR.
