beside whoever fights floyd or oscar no one is making over 10 million a fight.

On average the top fighters of the sport make around 10-15 million a year.

The highest paid QB makes like 15 or 16 million a year. Plus he has a guarenteed contract to make at least half of that if hes released.

i am pretty sure hatton could make 10 million fighting cotto or the pacman for a start.
The top quater backs don't get paid as much as floyd or oscar and the top pro footballers make shitloads of money as well so why the excuses?

Because Floyd is retired and Oscar is not a top fighter of the sport. It's also the fact that football you can get sponsored for A LOT of extra money.

While you rarely rarely if at all see boxers being sponsored by anything big.

Maybe big companies but Peyton manning makes like 12 million a year on top of any sponsorships which I know has to be 5 mil +

Dont know if he would be world champ but he did have a solid amatuer background and looked like he wasnt some circus act in his only pro fight.

Dont know how good he will be on the NFL level as he went to a team with solid players ahead of him at his position.

sorry m8 but i don't agree at all, we can still produce good fighters in the uk and premier league footballer get paid a **** load more than the average boxer as well. It also seems ratehr funy that the massive decline in american fighters seems to coinside with a big increase in eastern european fighters.

    Thats fine.

Theres equal if not more money for top athletes of other sports than for the top fighters of boxing.

A vet player in the NFL has a minimum salary of 400,000+ a year. And thats the MINIMUM for what could be an average player.

Theres more money in the NFL for even just okay players.

Even guys in the NFL who are on the practice squad of teams make almost 100k a year and they are the **** end of the totem poll. A guy that low on the totem poll in boxing oculdn't make that in a year unless he fought A LOT of fights in the year.

I think he would be a better version of Mike Mollo but he is small for a heavyweight although he is a disciplined, dedicated athlete who is tough as ****.

not really there is money for sports in other countries not just america but they seem to be doing betetr than before rather than worse. Also no nfl player gets paid as much as the top boxer does thats a fact after tiger woods oscar and floyd were the top two sports eaners last year.
