Hopkins' Best Punch: Straight right hand (whether it be a counterpunch, a lead punch, or following a set-up jab)

The Punch Calzaghe is Most Vulnerable To: Straight right hand or uppercut

That move that Hopkins got from Jersey Joe Walcott - seems to be moving away and turns swiftly and smoothly to bang to the solar plexus with a right hook... Masterfully executed and Calzaghe will slow down on his tracks.

overhand right followed by elbow or more commonly headbutt, that's his more used and most effective move.

The counter right headbutt when he slips a lefthook or his straight right with his head down.

Hopkins straight right in this day and age is nothing like it used to be, it's accurate, but hardly powerful and it's pretty slow. Calzaghe will neutralise it with his speed and even when it does land, expect him to walk through it. There's no chance in hell Hopkins right is as potent as Kesslers... absolutely none

Hopkins' best punch is that sneaky ass straight right of his. Used as a lead shot or a counter, that thing is beautiful.

Punch that Joe is most susceptible to is a straight right. Interesting match up isnt it?

On Calz's side, wasn't that Kessler's best punch too?
