Really? Besides the title holders and Joshua, whos in todays top 10? The likes of Parker, the elderly trio of Ortiz, Povetkin and Pulev, Whyte, drug fuelled Miller and unproven Rivas?

I can’t see any of the guys on my list struggle with any of them.

Whyte is a bettter catch and counter fight than the other fighters you mention here and he has a very powerful hook.

Ortiz is a lot better than most of the boxers on your list.

    Top 10 is too subjective.

If you do top five guys who he defended successfully against, Cooney would be in and there would be a few other arguable guys at the 5 spot, Witherspoon not included due to lack of experience.

Almost all of them in their peak would be in the top ten today. Weaver might not get there. He lost too many time. The bottom spots 5-10 are very weak. While Fury, Wilder and Joshua are the two three today, two of the top three guys were exposed, the other busted on PED's.

Obviously if they were all magically transported into modern times the current top 10 would be:

    1 Scott Frank
    2 Lucien Rodriguez
    3 Lorenzo Zanon
    4 David Bey
    5 Scott LeDoux
    6 Tex Cobb
    7 Tyson Fury
    8 Deontay Wilder
    9 Andy Ruiz
    10 Anthony Joseph
    :D

We should ask Oliver McCall since he’s the closest to fighting in both eras.

I don`t think McCall would be a top 10 fighter now, he was outboxed by Bruno who was a lot like Joe Joyce.

Tyson, Cooney, Holyfield, Berbick, Witherspoon, Norton, Mercer, Carl Williams (he's the most dubious one here imo, very inconsistent chin).

I can't see his first four title defenses charting anywhere today. Cobb might have iron-chinned it into the top 10, and Weaver sometimes got very fortunate.

You know, I might pick the Leon that beat Ali to handle Ruiz today

AJ would have blown Leon away easily.

He had better, because with AJ's 10 oz gas tank he'd be meat later on.
