Erin McGowan and Susie Ramandan are both outstanding boxers. I think Susie can go all the way and I'd like to go all the way with Erin.

womens mma is where womens combat sports is at. people appreciate it. gets tv coverage. co man event status. give it 2 years with more fighter flooding the ranks wmma will be in the ufc.

the problem is the big stars fight at 145 like gina carano and cyborg. but the bulk of the fighters are at 135 or less.

I saw one girls pay check for a losing effort in a world title fight as co main on a showtime card. was 40 thousand dollars. thats nothing to be mad about.

Unfortunately our female boxers only dream about 40 thousand dollar paydays.

people like womens fighting. even if its a novelty. innitially wmma was a novelty and than its crafted into an actual appreciated looked for fight on the card.

to be honest though. womens mma is much more exciting at a low level than low level female boxing since you have grappling, wrestling and submissions. so there are plenty of finishes, if you watch female boxing only a few elite can actually finish fighters because the punch is usually the weakest part of combat for a woman. women can take a beating. so combine that ability of taking a beating with the person throwing the punch not having much power...u dont see many knock outs. And its to be honest boring...

another factor women fighting 2 minute rounds that makes us think its lower class to begin with. WMMA was like this with 3 x 3 minute rounds. But now they fight the same 3 x 5 minute rounds as men.

plus you have women coming into mma with amazing amature careers a judo, wrestlers at olympic record.

And the ultimate factor is womens mma has a home strikeforce and bellator. the promotion legitimizes it. Boxing is just everyman and his dog.

christ wat a spelling mistake post.

I follow MMA as well as boxing and agree with you that watching women fight MMA can be a better spectacle. But women who can really box like Erin McGowan and Susie Ramandan are a joy to watch and make blokes envious of their techniques.

yeah i agree. top class boxing both male and female is amazing to watch. I was trying to convey that mma at lower level especially wmma is much more exciting than boxing at a lower level in regards to female boxing. because it involves ground submission. which makes up for the lack of technique and power in punches.
