His brother fought under the name Peter Fuller in exhibitions with Marciano. The exhibitions were in the 1951 to 1952 period when Marciano was fighting only at least fairly well-known fighters. As the two brothers looked like, well, brothers, there was no way they could fool anyone about that.
Correct. There was some speculation that Rocky fought as a pro under the name Rocky Mack, but there was no evidence it happened. Nat also researched the heck out of an alleged Dempsey vs Johnson fight in Canada, which even had a news report attached to it. Dempsey won via mid round KO. Rocky fixed his fights with his fists.
I made a thread on it. There are two separate papers ( One in New York the other in Chicago ) they have similar round by round reports with the same ending.
As usual you don't know what the **** you are talking about. Marciano had his first pro fight under the name Rocky Mack it was on the 17th of March 1947 and the opponent was Lee Epperson .Marciano did it to protect his amatuer status .Marciano was supposed to get $50 for the bout but ended up with $35 .Marciano then tried out for the Chicago Cubs receiving a salary of $200-250 a month + exes , but was cut from the program when he developed a sore arm . Marciano then entered the Golden Gloves in Lowell scoring three 1st rd kos ,this qualified him to enter the Golden Gloves in NY as the representative from new England this is March 1948 ,A YEAR AFTER he had fought as a PROFESSIONAL BOXER. His opponent was Coley Wallace. Marciano not only fought as a pro boxer in 1947 but played Baseball as a semi pro that same year, ie he got paid then re - entered the amatuer sportsworld via the Golden Gloves in1948. Jim Thorpe, the great Olympian had his gold medals taken away for engaging in semi pro football but then entering amatuer events. So next time you open your ignorant mouth again make sure that what comes out of it is true ,that should be a unique experience for you. Oh and here's the sources . Box Rec Rocky Marciano by Everett M .Skehantime: 0:42 Pro debut for Marciano who used name Rocky Mack. Springfield Union.

For once you are correct. You should buy a lotto ticket. I should have said there was speculation that Rocky lost a pro fight under the name Rocky Mack.
I dont need luck to expose you.But I will give you kudos for admitting you are wrong,[ for the first time] , however obscurely you worded it.
It’s not the first time I have made a mistake here. They happen. I have said to others you are correct. Your memory isn't the best.
Johnny Boz was all hot and heavy about Ted Lowrey beating the hell out of Rock and then he "suddenly stopped fighting".
