My excuse is, it's 3:27am. That and the way he worded the title, kind of leads people in that direction.

I keep rereading it trying to figure out what it is about it that makes it come across that way.

I mean even if people thought it was like "who from this list of fighters that are currently retiring" it should have set off alarm bells that Kovalev and Chocolatito have no plans to retire soon...

Probably the, "Which of" then people jump to the conclusion leapfrogging the Mine are part and look directly at his list. I know that's what I did, granted I'd just woken up. Not sure about anyone else.

Largely depends on when and how they retire, and if their status changes in the meantime.
Looking back, years ago I would have thought guys like Cotto, Wlad and RJJ would trigger some emotion, but it turns out it was "good riddance", "good timing, with some emotion" and "finally, now please stay retired!" instead.

When Haye retires I'm gonna go to my boxing gym, get into the ring and pour out some liquor on the mat.

Not emotional but would be disappointed to see Rigo retire without fulfilling his potential. Was a world beater in the making completely ruined his career, or had it ruined probably a bit of both. Didn't do himself any favours at all with the Loma fight

Deontay Wilder - this guy is just comedy gold (unintentionally so) and every inane tweet brightens up my day.

In terms of talented boxers - I'll be sad when GGG, Loma, Saunders retire.
