Which of the four major sanctioning bodies is the $h*ttiest?

Worst first.

1. WBC
2. WBA
3. WBO
4. IBF

WBC are shocking with Suliman at the helm. A very prestigious title but the grubs running the show are nothing short of crooks.

The WBA have more champions per division then challangers and they fall apart when it comes time for a mandated title fight. Does the #1 challanger fight the Interim, regular or super champion? Makes no sense what so ever.

The IBF as people say are to quick to strip and the WBO are much the same. The IBO have come along and done some good work but they don't enforce mandatory fights. So you can hold the belt and pick and choose. A real champion is the man who fights the next best avaliable fighter.

I think the only credible belt these days is the good old Ring magazine title.

IBF. Don King had his hands on the IBF in the 80's 90's and 00's. Haven't seen him there in a minute.

 

the wbc belt just looks the best for some reason to me.

The ring magazine titles are the best titles, unfortunately they are not a sanctioning body but if they were, they would probably become like the others.

 

the ring has gone to **** oscar fired all the old staff and replaced them with idiots, the magazine and the website quality has dropped recently.and their rankings have nosedived
they kept pac high in the rankings after marquez 3 and they even named that fight robbery of the year but then they didn't drop pac after the bradley fight as they said it was a robbery :nut
they dropped peterson and berto for failing drug test yet aren't dropping chavez for failing
they made the rule to drop fighters for drug test a week before khan/garcia so they could drop peterson and make sure gbp fighters khan/garcia could fight for the belt
they decided to make yoan pablo hernadez/cunningham as they said huck had moved up to hw even though he said he was coming back down while they kept jmm ranked at lw for ages when he was fighting at ww.
they have the #1 P4P spot VACANT while floyd and pac are joined 2 :rofl
they also changed the rules so that technically is the number3 ranked fighter fights the 5th it could be for the title and alot of their ranking board quit

Excellent summary of some of the the many problems with The Ring's ratings today. The Ring belt should no longer be regarded as a legitimate title.

WBA is completely corrupt, has bull**** challengers facing paper champions. Awards title fights based on nothing. Rankings are total bull****.

WBC is just like the WBA except with more belts (World, Diamond, Silver, etc..).

WBO is a fringe belt that is worthless. Rankings are mildly better than the WBA but still bull****.

IBF is by far the best. Support unification, produce descent mandatory, one champion at each weight. Rankings can still be ****ed up at times.

I only respect THE RING belt, I wish they would get more involved.

The IBF is the closer to decent level.
