Which of "The Four" Would You Prefer Pacquiao Fight Next?

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Juiceboxbiotch, Jan 5, 2012.

  1. Pacquiao will apparently have his pick. If you were Pacman's advisor, which would you be swaying him to choose?

    1. Marquez
    2. Cotto
    3. Bradley
    4. Peterson

Bradley would be able to take the most of a beat down so i think that would be the best ....Peterson would be a good fight .... If pac had to fight Marquez and beat him with no questions asked it would be a boring fight .. because of the way he would have to fight him.

Why on Earth does he need to build up his name more?

He has Peterson, Alexander, Holt, Witter and Campbell on his resume.

He's a young, undefeated champion that comes to fight.

I WOULD have been OK with Cotto a second time, but Arum made it clear there's going to be another catchweight for that fight. ("Something very close to 154lbs). Not interested.

Of those four options, I'd rather he fight Marquez again, whilst Peterson and Bradley rematch, and the winner getting Pacquiao, if Marquez doesn't beat him.

  7. I think all the fights are interesting in their own way... The one I want the least is Marquez. Bradley and Peterson would both be competitive and fun (Pacquiao would beat either one convincingly... and I feel he may even stop them both). The fight I think is the most interesting and has the potential for the best story is COTTO.

Pacquiao has clearly deteriorated a little bit, and Cotto would have the chance to avenge his only other loss. The second fight would be even more competitive than the first. Even though it would be at a catchweight... I like this one.

It is also the one that would make the most money. The fight should be at MSG. The place would be so frikkin loud. The PPV would sell really well and we would most likely get a great war for the ages.

Bradley. Manny doesn't need to get his ass kicked again infront of a worldwide audience.

Not by the same person anyway.

    1. Marquez IV
    2. Bradley

I really want to see both fights. Wouldn't mind him giving Peterson a shot or even giving Miguel another chance, but I don't really care to see them.

at 140 yes, but at 147 he is umproven him having a belt makes it a better fight right?

  11. The 154 title Cotto has doesn't mean **** to anyone, and therefore it matters very little what weight the fight is contracted at.

Cotto has the upper hand right now as he is coming off of a much more impressive showing than Pacquiao. If Cotto agrees to a catchweight, WTF do you really have to say about it? It will be a great fight either way, why pick THAT to complain about when it really only has implications for the alphabet title at stake?

And if Cotto wins, we'll be talking about a 3rd fight and won't be saying **** about Mayweather. Cotto has a chance at putting his name with the ATGs and should jump on it.

Bradley has unified the 140 pound belts 2 times.....and has 7 title fights
. fought on HBO and showtime at least 10 times and is 28-0. he has no reason to be matched againt berto or ortiz first

It doesn't matter as both are natural 140 lb fighters. Plus, Bradley does have a decent win over the once undefeated Abregu at 147.

he needs to prove himself possibly against a guy like ortiz who as it stands is unproven at welter with a 1-1 record?
