The writing is on the wall. It will be Marquez or Cotto, Arum will try to woo Lamont to fight Bradley on the undercard and the winner will be set to face Manny in the fall. This way he gets his cake and eats it too, Arums favorite thing to do.

  3. OK I see your point there, but Ortiz's win was BERTO and his loss was MAYWEATHER.

He knocked Berto around the ring and the Mayweather thing is what it is..

Bradley's win at 147 was Abregu... who was in his first important fight and hasn't done anything of note since.

The fight will most likely be at 147 assuming Pac doesn't want to drain any weight. But like i said, it doesn't really matter. Both are 140 lb fighters. Just like it didn't matter what weight the Pac/JMM fight was at because they are both similiar in natural size.

Marquez 4 and I thought Manny won their last fight, but who can give Pacman a challenge like Juan Manuel Marquez?

Peterson at 140 makes the most sense for Pac and Arum. He can bag 2 titles and and it's the most winable. Arum boxer Bradley's stock would go down with a loss to Pacquiao and Arum would also be able to sign Peterson up with added clauses and Pac winning would majorly **** up GBP's/Khan's plans.

No point in Cotto-Pac 2 for Arum. A loss destroy's Cotto and does nothing for Pac, same with Marquez 4 which would leave the loser with no where to go. Marquez vs. Bradley and Pac vs. Peterson on the other hand leaves could work out as a very good 4 man LWW tourney in Arum's eyes.

Even as a fan, what's the point of JMM 4. A loss would destroy Pac vs. Mayweather and we already saw it a few months ago.

I don't understand why anyone wants to see Cotto/Pac. Pac proved that he can take Cotto's power while Cotto proved that he can't handle Pac's speed. It's not like Cotto reinvented himself. It's just his level of opposition of late. He's the same fighter and so is Pac with a slight decline.

    Peterson would be hilarious.

Seriously though, I don't know, they're all pretty **** options. The best is probably Bradley.

It's because of the conditions that were in place and the timing of the fight. Cotto is small at 154 and a catch weight from 150-154 shouldn't be bad on him. This time, he has an actual trainer, will have a focused training camp, and will fight smart. It was evident that Cotto had the worst possible scenario when going into the first fight with Pac. He had no corner, he was demanded to meet a catchweight under his normal fighting weight, he overlooked Pacquiao thinking he was going to steamroll him.

The fight is much different today. Cotto has never lost a rematch and would take this fight as serious as a heart attack. Honestly, I see Pac getting stopped in the rematch.
