People saying Pac won is certainly funnier, so I'll say that's worse. None of us really know anything about Pac's supposed injury. We only know what's being reported. So we have no way of knowing whether he was injured or how bad it was. All we can say on that is it appears there was some kind of injury at some point between 2008 and the Floyd fight - but we don't know the severity of it, and with all the contradictions coming from Pac's camp since the Floyd fight, there's reason to believe that they are on a face-saving mission of damage control. But with the fight, anyone who saw the fight does know what happened, and Floyd clearly won the fight. So saying Pac won is worse, because we KNOW Floyd won. We can't be as sure on the details regarding the injury. :smoke
I saw the fight, and saw that there was something clearly wrong with Pacman, he wasn't his usual self, it had nothing to do with Mayweather, was no surprise to hear that he had a rotator cuff injury which needed surgery after the bout. Staying on topic, Pacman won is worse because Mayweather did win, but who can't win against a 1 armed man? Floyd had to run aswell.
I saw the fight and it was clear PEDquiao wasn't on PEDs. I wasn't suprised at all how he fought. I've been saying it for 5 years. He takes the test, he is average. Floyd knew it too! No volume punching. No stamina. No power. No footwork. I was also right he would have some lame excuse.
Wait, I know something more. I know that with a serious injury you cannot throw the combinations that pacman threw. I know too, that pacman's very first punch was with his right hand, and his very last punch was with his right han too. Pretty wierd for someone who has his right shoulder injured. He's a liar! that simple.
Acceptable post. For me, the most prudent facts surrounding an injury, for me, are as followed: -Pacquiao skips training, sparring, and sends sparring partners home (Note: I'm not sure if people closely followed Pac's training. I did and this is what was reported numerous times a few weeks before the fight all in a span of like 1 1/2 weeks. It seemed fishy at the time, but I just figured it was because Pacquiao was working out too much.) - Someone fills out medical form, lists "no" for injury yet at the same time writes down lidocaine, cortisone, PCP, Toradol for medications being used. - Pacquiao asks for his numbing agents before the fight - Commissions refuses numbing agents, unaware of injury - Pacquiao has surgery by Dr. Elattrache after the fight. - Pacquiao won't enter ring until 2016 Regardless of what Pac's camp is saying, I hope we can all agree this part of the matter is irrefutable.
I don't recall seeing any evidence of Pac having a hurt shoulder during the fight. That's just my opinion from my perspective. Pac looked like a typical Floyd opponent to me - that is to say he looked like someone who was confused by a superior athlete, and he looked reluctant to throw caution to the wind from fear of getting drilled with crisp counters. Pac looked like a typical Floyd opponent. The thing I've said that surprised me most since the fight happened, was Pac's feet looked slow, clumsy, and out of Floyd's league. This surprised me, but this had nothing to do with his shoulder and everything to do with the fact Pac has been visibly aging for some time.
That Pacquiao won, I mean the injury thing may at least have a modicum of legitimacy but people who say Pacquiao won are in some other dimension of delusion.
People saying Pacquiao won, because this indicates a complete lack of understanding concerning how to score boxing matches. The other is just typical speculation that accompanies virtually any injury claim, ho-hum.
Omg, I voted for the wrong one. I even created the dang poll, hahaha. I meant to vote for "People saying Pacquiao actually won against Mayweather"
Pacquiao tried to CHEAT plain and simple. The form isn't filled out correctly so they can choose to be dumb and say there was no injury or yes there was an injury. Clearly dishonest. They have filled out that EXACT form in Las Vegas MANY MANY times. Notice how they sought Dr. Elattrache's opinion only after getting butt hurt by Floyd May 2nd for an injury that Pac has had since 2008? It's like they wanted credibility by throwing a name out there. If I was Arum or Pac, I would have had that checked out in 2008 by Elattrache back then! They trusted other doctors for six years but now they only trust Elattrache. They could have surgery on it after getting KTFO6, he had ample time. Try not to be so clueless.
