Which of the upcoming UK Word Title challengers will win their shot?

Molitor has probably slipped a bit since the Caballero drubbing, but do you really think he's slipped "that" much?:think

 

I just don't think he was particularly good beforehand, and that Booth is on a run and has home advantage. I wasn't saying Booth was gonna batter him or whatnot, I just think he could sneak an close decision.

Antcull, I agree :good It was exactly my thinking when I felt that if he could survive an early storm (Munroe is also a notoriously slow starter) and then try and wear Nishioka down with his varied body attack, it will become really competitive. I just think Nishioka is the better fighter though, no doubt it will be a massive coup for Munroe if he pulls this off.

 

Any idea what the standard of scoring is like in Japan?

 

if this was pre Mitchell vs Katsidis i think we could be more hopefully but we all saw what happens when a fighter jumps up a level without being ready

I do think 1 will win but cannot decide who. Munroe is the best of them, but has the hardest fight and is away from home.

 

same as every country, he will need to be very convincing to win on points.

 

Both Booth and Munroe are live underdogs, and there are reasons you could see them winning, pretty much what has already been said above.

Burns is in for a night of pain I'm afraid. Martinez is pretty average in world circles, but it's still a huge step up from the middle of domestic level where Burns has been successful.

A win over Sykes/Johanneson or even Crolla would give us an idea as to how good Burns actually is - a shot Gomez and a very average showing over the very average but tough O'Hara isn't.

Katsidis vs Mitchell mk II this one I'm afraid.

 

Agree with Booth probably having slightly the better chance but i think it will be tough for either to comeout victorious.

Nishioka is the hardest opponent and away Rendall will have to fight the fight of his life if he is in with any chance he cant afford to start slow.

I think Martinez and Molitor are both of a similar standard but i think Booth is better than Burns and he has that real hunger to prove himself and nothing to lose.

I feel Burns has been waiting too long for his shot and it will have been easy for him to overtrain and over think the fight.

I think itwould be a massive result if one of these fighters were to win and regardless im going to be supporting them all the way we Brits love an underdog!

if Burns starts quick and lands some solid, clean shots or even wobbles Martinez early doors then we (the crowd) will be baying for blood, which I think is going to push Burns all the way.

Anyone who was at the Gomez fight will tell you that we did our bit, although Gomez was a shadow of his former self

I really think Munroe is going to beat Nishioka. 'On paper', he really shouldn't, but I just feel he's going to do it. This is the only time I have ever picked a fight on something as whimsical as 'a feeling'. I sound like an obsessive gambler.

Burns is going to get stopped (sorry, Billy, just my opinion) and Booth is going to come up short on points, IMO. I'd love to be wrong and see all 3 get their hands on belts, but I just don't see it happening:conf.
