Well we haven't seen much from Conlan and Stevenson, but I've seen enough of Davis to give him a meh, unless he turns around and proves it was an off night.
Davis looked terrible in his last fight, Lomachenko would easily knock him out, no wonder he won't fight Lomachenko. Davis won the fight with a very illegal blow behind the head, but because of his promoter, he got away with it. Instant replay in boxing would solve that problem, but the powers-that-be in boxing are corrupt, so they do not want instant relay nor do they allow the referee to be interviewed. I don't blame them, crooks are slimy snakes and I do not want to insult snakes.........hell, I have more respect for snakes!
Conlan from the weight he is starting at can see him moving up through the divisions and we now the Irish support is wild.
we just going to ignore the brutal body shot he landed or the fact the "illegal punch" wasent even a solid landing shot , it was glancing AT BEST
Davis got sloppy, maybe not impressive, but you can't deny his talent. He still is a dangerous fighter despite his short stature for the division, he might be the next Gamboa more than the next Broner.
No. It's on the negative side. A cheap Floyd copycat getting spanked instead of being himself in the ring. Just like Broner, it shouldn't be long before Davis gets expose and eat his share of humble pie.
