    I will possibly put Wlad's name on there, but I don't know if he is an ATG to be perfectly honest. The guys he fought is something below bum level.

    Marciano had significantly fewer fights than the other two.

    If were are, say, only looking at the strength of opposition amongst each of their top 20, for example, the answer might be Marciano. But, if we were looking at the strength of opposition amongst each of their top 10, the answer might be Holmes.

    No matter what conditions, a Louis vote here proves you are ******ed.

    Probably Joe Louis. But when you fight once a month, that will happen. He also fought all the contenders who mattered, outside of Elmar Ray who who was ranked #1 for a matter of weeks.

    Not to be inflamatory, but compared to Wlad Klitschko, who has met something like 5 top 5 contenders and, to my knoweldge, never met his #1, Louis has an extraordinary record.

    Klitschko fought the best fighters in the world. tell me one fighter that Wlad Klitschko ducked? they basically begged Lennox Lewis to fight them.
    Louis was fighting bums even when he defended his title. Put the Klitschko opponents against the Louis opponents and you see what happens.

    Wladimir fought on Lewis undercards and spied on Lennox when Lennox showers

    Wladimir ducked Lewis from 2000-2004

    Chris Byrd Ross Purrity Corrie Sanders and Lamont Brewster between them have beaten TWO KLITHSCKOS

    The Klithsckos between them have beaten ZERO klithsckos.

    Hence Byrd Purrity Sanders and Brewster are twice as good as K2

    Byrd cannot beat Golota who got KTFO by Lewis.
    Brewster cannot beat Ettine who got KTFO by Tyson who got KTFO by Lewis
    Purrity cannot beat Grant who got KTFO by Lewis
    Sanders cannot beat Nate Tubbs who got KTFO by Tua who got dominated via 12 round ownage by Lewis


    Lewis>then the four Klithscko killers

    Klithsckos cannot even beat mini bosses to get to the big boss

    Lennox Lewis . ATG > then either klitschko

    there is no blueprint. deal with it

    Joe louis forsure but back then HWs were 190lbs and u were fightin once a month.
    He fought alot of nobodies on the regular and now is a legend. Pretty shocking

    Those who call louis opponents bums should really check out the rankings of the division back then.

    They were bums so much as wlad's opponents today in that they were ranked contenders just hopelessly overmatched.

    The true answer of course has to be george foreman. No great hw comes close.

    Regarding this thread, it's probably rocky.

    Then list all the #2 Ring contenderst that Wlad has met.

    Wlad ducked Lewis from 2000-2004 . He fought on undercards of Lennox and he was there that night on the undercard of Grant vs Lewis

    after he saw how Lennox took Grant's soul, he wanted nothing to do with Lewis ever again. Ever Again.

    I even think he threw the fight against Sanders so he can avoid that uppercut and right hand which would have ended his existence
