Which of these ATGs did Bud Crawford Out-Jump after tonight?

How else would you? Resumes don't fight fighters do.

But if I wanna be honest,to get Duran in good shape is pretty much making him the more disadvantaged man management wise,for the fight.(Less paychecks,momentum etc)

Maybe..just maybe,if you only give Duran 25K dollars for a super fight with Crawford at welterweight,he'll probably be pissed off enough to actually give a fk.

He definitely needs the money to pay for those foods of him,y'know.

(Although there's also the chance that Duran's management will bargain for it,he ends up getting more pay and gets the 50/50 shape again,so..your point still stands,pat.)

 

None (maybe at a push a case could be made for Holyfield and Hopkins) because, Canelo while a very good fighter is very overrated, Floyd and Bivol already beat him easier than Crawford did and he should have at least 2 other loses on his resume.

Don't get me wrong, great performance from Bud but don't get carried away.

 

Floyd beat him at 152. What Crawford did was more impressive.

 

Crawford belongs right there with all those guys. There's different ways to be great. It depends what you focus on.

Were in the classic section let's appreciate the fact that he is just like those old school champions. He moved up 3 divisions basically and didn't ask for anything. No catchweight, no Sugar Ray Leonard size ring, roughly the size of Walmart, no gloves demands, etc.

With what we have in boxing today I would expect the folks here to appreciate what he just did and how he did it. This is what boxing needs.

If his resume doesn't have as many great names that it çould I would say that is because he was blatantly ducked by many of the big names who wanted no part of him. From Danny Garcia at 140, Mikey Garcia, Keith Thurmond, Manny Pacquiao, Jermel Charlo, Virgil Ortiz their all good fighters.

None of those guys had a realistic chance to beat TC. Nor did they believe they could. I don't need to see Bud beat those guys to learn what kind of fighter he is.

I wouldn't have a problem a problem putting him ahead of most of them. The only one I hesitate would be Roy Jones. Not because of the Ruiz fight. Ruiz wasnt the real champ.

Roy Jones was awfully good. He did alot. Remember Bud Crawford hasnt lost a fight.

Hearns, Arguello and Hopkins. he ranked already ahead of Hopkins before the Canelo fight.

Styles make fights as we all know. Canelo was tailor made for Bud: slow feet, no jab, inability to cut off the ring and the belief that he was stronger than Bud and therefore not afraid to trade with him. Plus Canelo is so rich he can't possibly bring himself to fight back when under pressure. He sleeps in silk pajamas.

IMO Buds big accomplishment was going up in weight while still maintaining all his skills i.e. wasn't slow.
