Which of these British fighters is the most International HOF worthy?

I've debated the IBHOF many times and my conclusion is that it is a bit of a joke and more of a club for fighters that support it than a hall where only the very best are included.

Based on how the hall is now I reckon Hamed, Hatton and Conteh will become members if they play the IBHOF game and go to the annual get together at Canastota and show their support for the hall.

Eubank and Benn where never top dogs or close to it in their divisions so I don't see them getting in too easily.

Here's how I rank the fighters based on record ie title wins and defenses and level of opposition throughout their career.

1) Hamed

(I really don't like the guy but he has the best record out of this group)


2) Conteh

(Just edges out Hatton based on talent and opposition - unfortunately like Hatton v Pac he fell on his face in the rematch against Matthew Saad Muhammad)


3) Ricky Hatton

Lineal champ at LWW and The Ring champ for 4 years are serious credentials but on
close examination his opponents aren't as good as Hamed's and Hamed was also never truely embarressed the way Ricky was against Manny.


4) Eubank/Benn. Hard to separate. Eubank had more talent but Benn did more in his career. Great fighting in Britain and fantastic rivalries with Collins and Watson as well but there were bigger fights out there that they didn't take. Ben took more chances than Eubank but Barkley's name was based on the Tommy fights which led to him being over rated. McClellan was not a well man in my view and this fight is tainted for me, I know may won't agree with me on this.

Although not my favourite from the list. Hamed for me.
