Gonna be a good thread to review in 2-3 years time to see if any have at least had a world title shot....if they won, how close they came if they didn't, whether they'll get another chance etc.

Why 'glorious' though? I enjoyed Ritsons come up, he went through the british scene like a hot knife going through butter so it was understandable he had hype . Exciting to watch, and a nice guy, don't get why you'd want him to fail unless your anti matchroom or something

He just found his level at European and was more flawed than it seemed when he stepped up, it happens

Haha yeah check them out. Surprised you have Owen Cooper on there and not Pat Mccormack who medalled gold or silver in every major tournament:lol:

Owen Cooper I caught a glimpse of by accident on a BT show, fairly recently & thought he looked skillful.

Got no votes though the poor lad so maybe not many else have heard about him.

At the time the hype was insane, genuine talk of Ritson v Taylor at St James's Park. The guy hadn't stepped up to European level and he was being called the Geordie Golovkin and being tipped to sell out a huge football stadium to fight a World Champion. Mad times.

Clarke, a definite no. He isn't a big enough puncher, nor a good enough boxer, and that British title shambles was embarrassing.

Can see Azim grabbing a strap if his chin holds up at higher levels.

Yep, these 3 clearly in the lead now.

No pressure boys....I think it helps that they've been exposed more, maybe hyped up more by the broadcasters and promoters than someone like Cooper or Hedges.

What about the guy that Frank Warren said that could beat Mike Tyson’s record as youngest heavyweight champ ever? What’s happened to him?

Dennis Mccann against Baluta will tell us what his ceiling is for sure

I predict there's gonna be a lot of future brit world champs in the lower weights, most of the talent is coming up around there imo
