The fighters in the poll are very likely going to be on the ballot for next year.

    What ones would you choose?

    Poll is up.

Should have been multiple choice though. Can a mod edit it?

You can make a case for the first seven guys on the list.

Calzaghe, Tito and Oscar are no-brainers. Moorer will make it on his Light-Heavyweight run and the fact he stepped up and won the Heavyweight title.. Chico will make it on the back of the first Castillo fight alone.

Vargas? He was a terrific fighter when he was young but he burned out fast. Was his run enough to get into the HOF? I'm sure he'll make it one day but I don't think he should be first-ballot.

With the current standards of the HOF, it should be:
Calzaghe, Oscar, and Trinidad on year 1 vote.
Corrales and Forrest some years down the line.

For my personal standards of what the HOF should be (I've always felt sports HOF's should be small in number of members):
    Calzaghe and Oscar.

None of the other guys should make it. Moorer having been lineal champ at HW might give him consideration but he really doesn't deserve it.

    ----

Pretty crazy stuff about that list.

Hopkins KO'd both Oscar and Trinidad. And lost a SD to Calzaghe. Hopkins IBF FTW.

Shane Mosley has fought Oscar, Forrest, and Vargas. Twice each!

Mayweather beat both Corrales and Oscar while Wladimir Klitschko beat Sultan and lost to Sanders.

Diego Corrales, Corrie Sanders, and Vernon Forrest are no longer with us. RIP.

Nope. You can make another poll thread and then a mod can merge them (and keep the new poll, overriding this one) :good

    Both were world heavyweight titleholders.

Sultan was never stopped, he had only one (decision) loss in his pro career. He was a Silver Medal winner in the 2000 Olympics, and won medals in several other international tournaments.

Sanders defeated an ATG heavyweight. I didn't vote for him in the poll, because he was really a one-hit wonder like Buster Douglas, but I thought he was at least worthy of being a poll option.

Be honest, you only included them because they are white heavyweights who fought Wlad.

No way on earth either Iggy or Sanders ever make the HOF. Though, they might be highly ranked over on castefootball by you & the other Nazis.
