I'm not going to include Bruno, because it's obvious that he would cleary win. So, which of these fighters do you think was most popular with both boxing fans and the general public combined?
I'd love to say Benn or Lewis. But I honestly think its probably a fight-out between Hatton and Cooper.
Cooper was a proper Birtish 'A' list celebrity in his day was he not? Running around West London clubs with Babs Windsor and The Kray twins.
Lewis may well be the least popular from that list, unfortunately, even Calzaghe roll probably has the edge over him thanks to Joe's ITV days. I think hardcore fans would probably go for Benn or Lewis though. I voted Hamed. I think him and Hatton are interchangable, but the level of exposure Hamed got was actually slightly higher IMO. Cooper may well be the most popular, he was the British Champ when that meant something, but given how long ago it was, I find it hard to judge, thats why I went with Naz.
