So, I was planning to do a post where I pick and rank the best fights of the 30s, of those on film, but there were a handful I was unsure whether or not I should include. Your guys' votes will not necessarily change anything, but it will give me a good idea of what the general consensus is towards certain fights. That alone could change whether or not I include it. Any explanations for why you chose the ones you did would be nice too.

I must say i'm not so familiar with the lower weight classes. It depends on how much fights you wan't to list. Braddock - Baer definatelly should ranked somewhere ~Top 3-10 HW Fights of the 30s. But it is your list. You set the parameters.

The sole basis is that it's a good fight. In the list I'm compiling, KO value, historical significance, and if the fight was an upset-none of those things alone dubs a fight worthy of the list in this case.

Why haven't you shown Louis v. Farr? Apart from Schmeling 1, that's Louis' toughest fight of the '30s. Farr damn near (but didn't) pulled off an upset.

Well, for one, I didn't think it was that good. But this post is actually a sounding board. I already have about ten or twelve fights chosen for the list, but these ones I am unsure whether or not I should include them on the list.
