before he beat oscar, i really want a jmm3 fight for pac more than hatton just to have another fight of the current top2 p4p boxers in the world. floyd seems out of the picture then but after pac stopped oscar, comparisons with floyd were discussed and now a fight between them is closer to reality. i also now realized the importance of pac beating the man at 140 which is hatton to add to his legacy.

now three possible opponents are in sight for pac. jmm3, hatton and floyd. which of these three fights would make you respect pac more if he would take next?

My respect would remain equal no matter which opponent he faces of those three, they are all equally tough, legitimate opponents. Personally, I want Pac to fight Hatton 1st, then Floyd, then JMM. There really has to be a 3rd Pac-JMM fight IMO, but right now all roads should lead to Floyd as that is the fight that could seal Pac's place as one of the greatest fighters ever.

I would respect whatever one of those fights Pac choose as there is not one easy fight there (tho certain thick ****s wil tell you Hatton will be an easy fight) but my preference would be Mayweather 1st, for several reasons.....

    1. If Pac lost to Floyd then a fight with Hatton or JMM will still be just as looked forward to as Floyd is regarded as numero uno by most & neither Ricky or JMM would be favoured to beat Mayweather either so interest in these fights if Pac lost would not plummet one bit IMO.

    2. If Pac wins then he is the man & ANY worthy opponent will be welcomed so those fights will have AT LEAST as much interest as before.

    3. If Pac were to fight & LOSE to either Ricky or JMM then lets be honest, who is gonna be drooling for a Pac-man FMJ clash ?.... nobody.

    4. As soon as you EVER get the chance to get the top 2 p4p fighters vs each other.... DO IT... before something spoils it, there is no bigger event in the boxing world than the 2 best in the world in any sport go at it, this is a huge appeal to both casual & hard core fans alike.

Lets get this Mayweather/Pacquiao fight signed ASAP.

Hatton for the linear 140 title. style wise, size wise, peak wise, fan base wise, it all fits.

I think Pac's promoters are looking for Hatton first then Mayweather second.

i am surprised that there is not enough jmm votes. do people feel it was enough that pac fought him 2 times already or the prospect of pac fighting new opponents in floyd and hatton seem more of a challenge for pac?

I voted for the Floyd fight, but like pretty much everyone else has said, wouldn't mind seeing any off the three.

the thing is PBF and Hatton will be there for a while longer. JMM is getting up there in age.

Also, PBF needs a tuneup. At this point we don't know how he's been affected by his inactivity.

True. Floyd is the best and poses the greatest challenge among the 3. Fighting him would earn Pac the greatest respect. But if that fight won't happen yet I'd like to see Pac v Hatton and Floyd v JMM. Winner vs winner.
